Upcoming Milfoil Treatment, June 5 |

On June 5, 2008 Lycott Environmental, Inc. of Southbridge, Massachusetts will be treating the milfoil in Northwood Lake with the herbicide 2,4-D. In the upcoming NLWA newsletter a reference is made to a New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services fact sheet titled "Herbicide Use for Controlling Variable-leafed Milfoil in New Hampshire". This fact sheet gives a brief explanation of two herbicides approved for use in the treatment of milfoil in New Hampshire. It can be downloaded here: WD-BB-52 .
